2026 Cinnamon Ragdoll Waitlist

Two Highly Anticipated Cinnamon Ragdoll Litters Planned For 2026

After nearly two years of focused planning and development, we are excited to announce two anticipated Cinnamon Ragdoll litters for 2026 from two carefully selected cinnamon queens.

These upcoming litters represent an important milestone in our breeding program and reflect years of work dedicated to preserving the rare cinnamon coloration while maintaining the health, temperament, structure, and quality standards we expect from every Ragdoll we raise.

Unlike larger breeding programs that focus primarily on availability, we prioritize long-term breed improvement and responsible placement decisions. As a result, our litters remain limited, carefully planned, and highly anticipated by families searching for Cinnamon Ragdoll kittens.

Because cinnamon remains one of the rarest color varieties found within the Ragdoll breed, reservations may become limited. Therefore, we have opened our waitlist early for families interested in learning more about our upcoming litters and future availability.

Why These Litters Are Special

The upcoming 2026 litters are especially meaningful because they represent the first cinnamon-focused litters within our program in nearly two years.

During that time, we have concentrated on strengthening our breeding program, evaluating future breeding cats, and carefully selecting pairings that support both health and color development.

Although the cinnamon coloration remains a major focus of our program, we never prioritize color at the expense of health or temperament. Every breeding decision begins with the same goal: producing affectionate, healthy, well-socialized Ragdolls that thrive as family companions.

As a result, these upcoming litters represent years of careful planning rather than routine breeding.

What Makes Cinnamon Ragdolls Different?

Cinnamon Ragdolls are admired for their warm, soft coloration and distinctive appearance. While traditional Ragdoll colors remain beautiful in their own right, cinnamon kittens often display a lighter and warmer overall tone that many families find especially appealing.

One of the most fascinating aspects of raising cinnamon kittens is watching their color develop over time. Many kittens begin with subtle coloration before gradually developing richer tones as they mature. Consequently, evaluating cinnamon kittens often requires patience and breeder experience.

Because cinnamon remains uncommon within the breed, many families spend months or even years searching for reputable breeders actively working with established cinnamon lines.

At Cinnamon Dolls Cattery, we continue investing in the preservation and development of this rare color while maintaining the temperament and breed quality that make Ragdolls such exceptional companions. Families can also learn more about our breeder standards on our Why Choose CinnamonDolls page.

Expected Cinnamon Patterns In Our 2026 Litters

Expected Cinnamon Patterns In Our 2026 Litters

While nature ultimately determines every kitten’s appearance, our planned pairings may produce several beautiful cinnamon pattern variations. You can also explore our full Colors & Appearance guide for more details about Ragdoll colors and patterns.

Cinnamon Colorpoint

Colorpoint kittens display the strongest expression of cinnamon coloration because no white markings interrupt the natural contrast between the body and points.

Many enthusiasts appreciate this pattern because it allows the cinnamon color itself to remain the focal point throughout maturity.

Expected Price Range: $2,500

Cinnamon Mitted

Mitted kittens feature white paws, a white chest, and a white chin while still displaying beautiful cinnamon coloring throughout the rest of the coat.

This pattern remains one of the most requested because it combines traditional Ragdoll markings with the rarity of cinnamon coloration.

Expected Price Range: $2800

Cinnamon Van

Van-pattern kittens display extensive white coverage with color concentrated primarily around the ears, tail, and portions of the head.

Because this pattern can be more difficult to produce consistently, many families actively seek it when searching for a distinctive and uncommon appearance.

Expected Price Range: $3,200

These ranges are provided to help families prepare before joining the waitlist. Final pricing is confirmed before placement and may depend on markings, pattern clarity, overall evaluation, and availability.

How Our 2026 Waitlist Works

Step 1: Submit an Inquiry

Begin by contacting us through our website. We encourage families to introduce themselves, share their household environment, and tell us about the type of kitten they hope to welcome into their home.

Step 2: Application Review

We review each inquiry carefully to ensure our kittens are placed in homes that align with our breeding philosophy and placement standards.

Step 3: Waitlist Placement

Approved families may join our waitlist for one of the planned 2026 litters.

At this stage, families can share preferences regarding:

• Pattern preference

• Gender preference

• Preferred litter timing

• General goals and expectations

Step 4: Reservation Confirmation

Once accepted, families may reserve placement through our waitlist system and begin receiving updates regarding future litter developments.

How Placement Priority And Kitten Selection Work

Our waitlist is organized in the order families are approved and confirmed. Therefore, families who join earlier receive earlier placement consideration when kittens become available.

After a litter is born and the kittens begin developing, we contact approved waitlist families in order of priority. At that stage, families may begin discussing available kittens based on pattern, gender, temperament, timing, and overall suitability.

Because every kitten develops at its own pace, we do not rush final matching decisions immediately after birth. Instead, we observe each kitten as they grow so we can better understand personality, confidence, markings, and readiness for placement.

As kittens grow, we send regular photo updates to approved families so they can follow their kitten’s development. These updates help families feel connected throughout the waiting period and allow them to see changes in size, expression, coat development, and personality over time.

For local families, we also encourage scheduled visits once the kittens are old enough and it is safe for them to meet visitors. In most cases, visits may begin after the kittens have reached an appropriate age and have received their first vaccinations, usually around 8 weeks old. This helps protect the health of the litter while still allowing families to bond with their kitten before pickup.

Families who cannot visit in person may schedule video calls instead. We can arrange a Zoom call or similar video visit so future owners can see the kittens, ask questions, and feel involved in the process even from a distance.

Our goal is to make the waitlist experience organized, personal, and transparent from the first inquiry through the day your kitten goes home.

Waitlist Deposit & Reservation Priority

A $300 reservation deposit is required to secure placement on our 2026 waitlist.

This deposit:

  • Secures placement priority
  • Applies toward the final purchase price
  • Confirms serious commitment
  • Allows us to plan future placements responsibly

Families may indicate preferred patterns, preferred litter timing, and gender preferences when joining the waitlist.

However, because nature determines litter size, color distribution, and gender, specific combinations cannot be guaranteed before kittens are born and evaluated. For this reason, our adoption process focuses on compatibility, timing, and responsible placement.

For example, a family requesting a female Cinnamon Van kitten from the first planned litter may be offered priority placement in the second litter if their preferred combination is unavailable.

This flexible approach allows us to remain transparent while providing every family with the best opportunity to receive a kitten that closely matches their preferences.

Planned 2026 Litters

First Cinnamon Litter

Expected Go-Home Period:
November 20 – December 15, 2026

Reservation Status:
Open

Our first planned cinnamon litter is expected to be ready for approved families between late November and mid-December 2026. This timing allows each kitten to receive proper socialization, early care, litter training, health monitoring, and developmental evaluation before leaving our home.

Second Cinnamon Litter

Expected Go-Home Period:
January 1 – January 20, 2027

Reservation Status:
Open

Our second planned cinnamon litter is expected to be ready for new homes during the first part of January 2027. Because this litter follows the first by a reasonable period, families may be placed into either litter based on timing, pattern preference, gender preference, and kitten availability.

Although we provide estimated go-home periods, every kitten develops at its own pace. Therefore, final pickup or delivery timing may depend on health, maturity, confidence, and readiness for transition.

We may also hold a kitten longer when a family needs additional time before pickup or delivery. If you prefer an extended hold for travel, scheduling, holidays, home preparation, or another reasonable reason, those arrangements should be discussed before the scheduled pickup or delivery date.

Our goal is always to make each transition smooth, safe, and well-planned for both the kitten and the adopting family.

What To Expect While Waiting

Waiting periods vary depending on breeding cycles, pattern preferences, and litter availability. However, we remain committed to maintaining clear communication throughout the process.

While waiting, families can:

  • Prepare their home environment
  • Learn more about Ragdoll care
  • Explore color and pattern differences
  • Ask questions about upcoming litters
  • Receive updates as breeding plans progress

Because every litter develops differently, maintaining open communication allows us to provide guidance, answer questions, and keep approved families informed as kittens grow.
